Seller terms

These terms apply when you sell on Tapyoka. They add to the terms of use.

Last updated 1 November 2026

You are the seller

You are the supplier of everything you sell. You are responsible for the product, its content, delivering it, keeping any access link working and any access rules on your own storage or platform.

Buyers pay you directly by UPI or your own payment link. Tapyoka does not receive, hold or forward money and is not a party to the sale. You confirm each payment in your dashboard, and only then do we deliver files, confirm bookings and email receipts.

You are responsible for your own taxes on your sales, including any tax registration your turnover or your products require.

In the launch period only an individual selling in their own name may sell. You give a PAN or Aadhaar number before your first sale, and we keep only a one way code and its last 4 characters. Cooked food and catering cannot use our checkout; use WhatsApp or your own link.

Each open one time order gets a payment code discount of 1 to 99 paise below your listed price, so you can find the payment by its exact amount or by the order code in the payment note.

What you can sell

Digital products, services, bookings and goods that are legal in India and that you have the right to sell.

You cannot post or sell:

Anything that belongs to someone else, such as copied courses, pirated files, music or photos you have no right to sell.

Content that is obscene, pornographic or sexual, anything involving minors, and intimate images of any person shared without their consent.

Pretending to be another person, business, bank, government body or brand, or misleading people about who you are.

Threats to the unity, security or sovereignty of India, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or hatred against any group.

False information, deepfakes and AI generated media that are not labelled as such, and anything that could mislead a buyer about a product, a price or a result.

Malware, phishing, software that breaks into or damages a computer, and links to such things.

Real money gambling and betting, including fantasy sports with cash prizes, lotteries, and ads or affiliate links for betting and real money gaming.

Get rich quick or multi level marketing schemes.

Investment advice or stock tips from anyone who is not registered with SEBI.

Cure and miracle health claims.

Weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, fake documents, stolen data and anything else that is illegal to sell in India.

Content that breaks a court order or any law in force.

We remind every seller of these rules at least once a year by email.

Licences and registrations

You must hold every licence or registration that your products and services need, and keep them valid: for example FSSAI registration for food, a licence under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act for cosmetics or medicines, SEBI registration for investment advice, GST registration where your turnover or products require it, and the Legal Metrology declarations on packaged goods. You must own, or hold the rights to, every file and piece of music you sell. This is your responsibility, not ours. We do not check or collect these documents.

Before your first paid listing you confirm this in your dashboard. We record the time and the wording you confirmed, and we ask again when the wording changes.

Tapyoka may remove a listing, or pause a shop, that is reported to us as unlicensed.

What you must show buyers

Your name, or that you are an individual seller; a way to contact you; your city; and your refund and cancellation terms. You add these once in Settings and we show them on each product page, at checkout and on receipts.

For packaged goods you must also give the country of origin, the net quantity and the maximum retail price, as the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules require.

Advertising, affiliate links and reviews

When a link or post is paid for, sponsored, an affiliate link or a gifted product, use the Ad, Paid partnership, Affiliate or Gifted label we provide, and follow the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Endorsements, 2022 and the ASCI code on your own channels too.

Do not make health, income or results claims you cannot prove. Reviews you show must be real and from real buyers.

Fees

While buyers pay you directly, Tapyoka does not receive the money and charges no fee on sales. Pro costs a flat ₹294 a month or ₹2,818 a year, with no extra charges.

The 0% offer on sales

For a limited period, Tapyoka charges no platform fee on sales. Our normal platform fee is 8% of each sale on the Free plan and 2% of each sale on Pro.

Who qualifies: every seller account created on or before the day the offer closes to new sellers. This includes accounts created before the offer was announced.

What it covers: the Tapyoka platform fee on every sale, including products, bookings, tips, memberships and payment links, on Free and on Pro. It does not cover the price of Pro. Payment gateway charges and the taxes the law requires still apply once payments run through Tapyoka.

How long: for as long as your account stays active. If your account is closed or deleted, the offer ends with it. The offer belongs to the account holder and does not transfer to another person, including when a page or username moves to someone else.

Closing to new sellers: we will give at least 30 days notice on this site before the offer closes to new sellers. Accounts created after it closes pay the normal fees.

Refunds and complaints

Set fair refund and cancellation terms and follow them. Answer buyer complaints within 48 hours.

Refunds come from you, back to the account the buyer paid from. Tapyoka cannot refund money it never received. If buyers report that products do not arrive and you do not fix it, we may hide your shop.

Answer every buyer report in your dashboard within 48 hours: confirm the payment, fix the link, or mark it as not received with a note. When reports from several buyers stay unresolved, new payments on your page pause until we review it. Sales you already confirmed are not changed.

Until your page is 30 days old and has 5 confirmed sales, it can have at most 20 unconfirmed payment requests open at a time.

Partner programme

Anyone with a Tapyoka account can apply. We decide who joins. You may hold only one partner account, and signups from your own accounts, or accounts with your PAN or bank account, do not count.

An approved partner earns 25% of the base price of each Pro payment made by sellers who sign up through the partner link, for 12 months from each seller's first Pro payment. Fees on sales do not count. This is commission paid in money. Each amount waits 30 days, refunds are taken off, and you can ask for a payout once ₹1,000 is payable and we have verified your identity and bank account. You are responsible for any tax on it.

We can change or end the programme with 30 days notice. Spam, paid ads on our name, false claims, fake accounts or any other abuse lead to removal from the programme and loss of unpaid commission.

Post for Pro

Open to India based Instagram accounts with at least 5,000 followers and YouTube channels with at least 2,000 subscribers, with the handle verified on Tapyoka. Each approved post earns 1 month of Pro as credit. It is never paid as cash and cannot be transferred. At most one post counts every 14 days and at most 6 months a calendar year.

Each post must carry #ad or #collab where people see it straight away, tag @tapyoka, show your own Tapyoka page, and follow the ASCI code, the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Endorsements, 2022 and the law. Your Tapyoka link must be in your bio. The post must stay up for 30 days. If it comes down earlier, we take the month back from your remaining Pro time or your next credit. We never charge money for it.

We can change or end Post for Pro with 30 days notice. Fake followers, bought engagement, reused posts, false statements or any other abuse lead to removal and loss of months not yet used.

Buyer data

Use buyer details only to deliver what they bought and to answer them. Do not add them to marketing lists without their consent.

Your responsibility to us

You will cover Tapyoka and Team Tomomind for any claim, fine, tax or cost that comes from your products, your content, missing licences or registrations, your tax duties or your breach of these terms.

Ending

You can stop selling at any time. We may pause or close a shop that breaks these terms.
