How to lock a link with a code, a subscribe step, a date or for members

Sometimes a link should not open for everyone: a bonus for buyers, a free guide in exchange for an email, a launch that starts on Friday, or a class link for members. Locks do that without a separate page.

Details that matter

  • Code: 4 to 32 characters, such as DIWALI26. You will not see it again in the editor, so note it somewhere. Visitors get 5 tries an hour.
  • Subscribe: entries land in Leads. See How to build an email list from Instagram.
  • Date: set Opens at (IST) in the future. Visitors see a countdown until then.
  • Members only: set up plans in Members first. See How to sell a paid WhatsApp or Telegram community.
  • Once a visitor unlocks a block, it stays open for them for 30 days.
Good to know

A lock controls who sees the link on your page. Anyone who opens the link can still copy it and pass it on. For files, sell them as a product instead, where download links expire.
